Set you need a rgb hub for it to light in the lead at all? I heard you just can't control the lighting without the hub, non that it can't light upward at all without single ?

Thither's 2 parts to that devotee. The fan itself and the lighting. They are seperate. You can run the lights with atomic number 102 fan, or the fan with no lights.

If your fans are RGB, yes. If your fans are ARGB then in spades not. Here's the kicker, the ARGB and RGB plugs are contrasting. So if you've already plugged into the JRainbow and the connector fits perfectly, then you shouldn't then be able to plug into the JRGB port, different headers.

So are your fans rainbow or plain color.

Corsair says RGB all over, in big blocky inscription in some points, simply shows a picture of rainbow coloring, then halfway down in the mouth the anno Domini says 'individually addressable' on a banging yellow picture. Those are ARGB fans, addressable 5v fans, nearly definitely practice Non try plugging them into the JRGB lintel or you'll minor the lighting. Don't sympathize why companies like Corsair h Ave such a rough sledding conscionable putt an 'A' in front of the RGB. IT's rediculous.

Caveat is that these particular fans, because of the 'Plural District' kindling require the manipulation of a Lighting Node Pro and iCue software.

Corsair says RGB everywhere, in conspicuous blocky lettering in some points, merely shows a picture of rainbow coloring, then halfway down the ad says 'individually addressable' on a macro yellow picture. Those are ARGB fans, addressable 5v fans, most definitely Doctor of Osteopathy NOT try plugging them into the JRGB coping Beaver State you'll fry the lighting. Don't understand why companies like Corsair h Ave such a hard time just putting an 'A' in front of the RGB. IT's rediculous.

Caveat is that these particular fans, because of the 'Multiple Partition' firing require the use of a Light Node Professional and iCue package.

Can also use a Commander In favor.

Non by itself, no. The addressing chips only respond to commands from the Commander Pro/Node Pro, the ARGB system addressing is proprietorship in these particular fans even if they use classic connections. Basically naught more than than a 'money grab'.

You implied nothing corsair will act without a hub, that's not solely accurate. And only a select few mobo's like the MSI Meg 1 have that header, which does study with Orphic light or iCue. It's a non-standard header, used with license or sales cooperation . I've seen multiple corsair fans work only fine without a Node or Commander Pro and that happened right aft Corsair moved from its trademarked attuned connector, to the disaster that was a duplicate of the pwm lover connector, to the adoptive criterial 5050 etc.

But As aforementioned, there's a difference between RGB and ARGB. RGB fans don't require a Node or Commander Pro, ARGB does. It gets confusing since Barbary pirate labels everything RGB whether it's available or not.

Corsair ARGB don't have got Hardware Playback included, that's where once the software sends a color signal to the addressing chip, that chip tells the software 'ok, I'm red now' so the fan picture turns led reddish, and the software knows its red. All other ARGB has that, but that's why Barbary pirate ARGB pauperism the lymph node, the client output takes on that role. Without information technology, the software system has no idea of brightness, electromotive force flow, amperage totals etc. RGB doesn't deman any of that since there is no addressing nick and other functions such atomic number 3 impedence and amperage on the seperate grounds are controlled from a single buss connected the motherboard.

I've seen multiple corsair fans work just fine without a Node OR Commanding officer In favou and that happened right after Barbary pirate moved from its proprietary keyed connexion, to the disaster that was a duplicate of the pwm fan connecter, to the adoptive standard 5050 etc.
Ive never seen a corsair argb/rgb fan that works being plugged into a standard 3 PIN number 5v or 4 pin 12v motherboard header. Every single one ive seen has had to be plugged into one of their controllers. Unless you buy a separate 3rd party arranger to be able to stop up IT into your motherboard. Which models of corsair fans have got you seen that work without one of these adapters or without one of their controllers? (They have more controllers than just the thickening/commander pro). Plainly just talking rgb Here not the devotee itself

No, I said "corsair fans" which doesnt even total close to implying that nothing with corsair branding will work without a hub. Also when I say "corsair fans" I'm implying the rgb not the fan itself, which should be obvious given the topic.
